Headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Acist Medical Systems, part of the Bracco Group, was founded by an interventional cardiologist on a mission. Robert (Bob) F. Wilson, MD, professor of medicine and director of the interventional cardiology program at the University of Minnesota, wanted to create a device that would take into account the needs of doctors and patients at the Cath Lab. This prompted the creation of the Acist CVI™, a device that simplifies contrast injection for all procedures. Since then, ACIST has become a catalyst for knowledge, helping interventional cardiologists rapidly visualize, assess, and improve patient care. Venbiz Medical Group is the official Distributor of Acist in the Caribbean region.
